Modesto Area Express (MAX) will be providing special fixed-route bus service (Routes A, B, and C), free of charge, for those who would like to attend the free Thanksgiving Dinner at the Modesto Centre Plaza on November 28, 2019. All buses are scheduled to arrive at Modesto Centre Plaza about 12:35 p.m. Buses will also stop at most corners along the routes.
- Route A departs from I Street and 1st Street at 12:00 p.m., Sutter and Robertson at 12:10 p.m., the King Kennedy Center at 12:20 p.m.
- Route B departs from Boulder and Hatch at 12:10 p.m., Butte and Crows Landing at 12:14 p.m., Crows Landing and Hatch at 12:23 p.m., Hatch and Herndon at 12:26 p.m.
- Route C departs from Modesto Centre Plaza at 12:00 p.m. to 14th Street, Yosemite and Santa Cruz at 12:06 p.m., the Thrift Store at Kerr and Yosemite at 12:11 p.m., Yosemite and Riverside at 12:15 p.m., El Vista and Scenic at 12:19 p.m., Marple Manor at 12:22 p.m., and Ralston Towers at 12:27 p.m.
Modesto Dial-A-Ride will also be provided to those living within the Modesto Area Dial-A-Ride service area who are unable to use the three special MAX fixed routes. Advance reservations must be made with Dial-A-Ride at 209-527-4900 no later than 12:00 p.m. Wednesday, November 27. When making reservations, passengers will be assigned a pick-up window.
