Modesto veterans, we hope you’ve enjoyed your free month of rides on Modesto Area Express (MAX) – you deserve it! We have some more good news for you! As part of our July service change, local veterans are invited to ride at a half-fare price of $1.00 per trip or $29 for a 31-Day Pass (regularly $58). This is not just for a month - this is from now on! Thank you for your service. Veteran passes can be purchased at the MAX office at the Downtown Transit Center, or at the Modesto Finance Department.
Veterans will need to show their California Identification (ID) with the veteran status, or other identification showing their veteran status to receive the discount. Please contact 209-521-1274 if you have questions.
