This year Modesto Junior College partnered with Modesto Area Express to provide free rides to students, and those enrolled in the college are taking advantage of this incredible benefit! Since the 2018-2019 school year started, ridership has increased steadily. In October, MJC ridership on MAX increased by nearly 3,000 riders from last year.
If you’re an MJC student, take advantage of free travel by presenting your MJC Student ID card with a current semester sticker to the driver. This program is available on any MAX bus, any time, excluding the commuter routes to BART and ACE.
