Modesto Area Express (MAX) is reaching out to riders to help keep our useful bus stops clean and welcoming for all! As the weather gets hot, garbage and left-over food becomes even more of an eye- and nose-sore.
Let’s work together to keep our bus stops clean and welcoming. You can help by doing the following:
- Making sure all trash is placed in the bin! If you have something to throw away that doesn’t fit in the bin (packing from a purchase or leftover food containers), please consider keeping the items with you until there is a trash receptacle available.
- Not leaving unwanted clothing or household items at the bus stop. If you are looking to donate items, please consider the Community Hospice Hope Chest Thrift Store or the Salvation Army Family Thrift Store & Donation Center.
- Taking pride in your local bus stop!
